A MESSAGE FROM LOGAN BELL (PARKS DIRECTOR)
—————————
First, I want to thank Derek Reynolds & Sarah (it wouldn’t let me tag her) for all the help at the beginning of the year. Derek was able to give some valuable time to the park. He helped with the new loads of dirt and skid steer work, dragging the fields, organizing schedules, and a lot more. Sarah helped us with decorations and even helped get our concession stand workers trained and ready to go for the season. A huge thank you to them. 👏 Also, want to thank the Hart County Veteran's Committee for their support and allowing us to join in on this trunk or treat and other events, Tac Ag Aerial Solutions for providing us with our grass seed, fertilizer, and spraying the bugs over our soccer field, our volunteers, our coaches and staff, concessions workers, field crews, Heather Roth Riggs & Kelly Profitt Pedigo. We ended the year strong and were able to grow the park to over 1000 registered players. We have been able to grow baseball and include soccer into our programs. Lots of park upgrades and some parking issues resolved. I’m super excited and humble that the city has chosen myself to help grow the parks back to glory. Aaron Jaggers has been a blessing behind the scenes in getting a lot of the much needed upgrades done. He has came out to the parks everyday with me and has taught me some valuable lessons that I plan on bringing back next year! We have already got our schedules made for next year and I am currently working on the new website now to make it easier for registrations. I know this past year was rushed and hectic. I’m just glad that I have amazing people surrounding me. There’s no way we would have been able to do what we have done without everyone’s help! If you need me. You know I’ll be doing field work 😂

A MESSAGE FROM HEATHER RIGGS (PARKS MANAGER)
—————————
This has been my first season at Munfordville Sports, and what a great experience it’s been! I’ve always been on the parent and assistant coach side, but this fall I had the opportunity to be on the other side helping make sure our programs run smoothly. I’ve truly enjoyed every moment watching our players grow, learn, and have fun out on the fields.
I’m looking forward to continuing to help improve, grow, and build stronger sports programs here in Hart County. The children coming through our programs today are our future athletes, and starting at a young age is the perfect opportunity to help them become well-rounded players and individuals.
A big thank-you to all the kids, coaches, and families for such a wonderful and successful fall season. I’ll see y’all in the spring!

A MESSAGE FROM KELLY PEDIGO (SOCCER MANAGER)
—————————
Wow, what a great first season of rec soccer at the Munfordville Sports Park! The fall soccer season of 2025 looked much different than the spring season with our transition from Thelma Stovall Park to the Munfordville Sports Park. I'm excited to say being a part of the Munfordville Sports Team has truly been a blessing to the soccer program. Working along side Logan Bell, Aaron Jaggers, Heather Riggs, and others, has been so easy. The whole sports park team is invested in the future of our children, the growth of the baseball, softball, tee- ball, and soccer programs. I just wanted to take time to thank all of our amazing soccer players, parents, family, and friends, for your unbelievable amount of patience as we continue to make changes to further improve all of our future soccer needs. I look forward to future seasons and can't wait to see how the Munfordville Sports programs flourish!

And a lot of upgrades coming as well as the inclusion of pickleball tournaments and disc golf tournaments! 2025 was a great year for Munfordville Sports but 2026 is looking even better! Keep an eye on our page as every update will be on here! Thanks everyone. — Logan
