Here is your PSA….before you’re in your mid thirties, learn how to pull a dang trailer. I’m super bummed right now because someone (me 🙋‍♀️) never learned how to pull a trailer of any sort and am thus being left behind for ADGA Nationals. Bruce is taking a few does up to Massachusetts for nationals and I am very excited that he gets to go (he isn’t 😂) and hoping the girls do ok. I’m staying behind to take care of the farm. I’m doing all the prep for Nationals but NONE of the fun part 😆 IF I had ever learned to haul a trailer I could be the one going to Massachusetts for vacation and he would be here sweating his rear off haha. Soooo moral of the story, learn to haul the trailer! I have til 2028 to learn how to pull this giant gooseneck to ADGA Nationals in Kentucky. ✌️

God has blessed us so much over the years but this year in particular we are feeling His blessings even more. I never would have guessed we’d ever have a horse trailer so nice! It was not on my radar. But the more we’ve gotten into showing our goats, Bruce and I have both gotten tired of setting up the tent and sleeping on a crappy air mattress in the heat (Bruce in particular) 😂 are we spoiled? Yes. But so grateful for the Lords blessings in our life and so grateful for a husband that works his rear end off to provide for his family and spoil us with “extra”. I am not trying to be boastful but truly just so astonished and humbled with this trailer. Thank you Bruce Hamilton for our beautiful trailer with AC! 😂❤️ I look forward to the goaty adventures we can go on with our children and time spent together. Thank you ❤️

We had a great weekend at NCDGBA Memorial Day show! It was so fun to see friends and talk goats with people that that’s all they want to talk about anyway 😂
William got to show in showmanship which he loves, he’s very motivated by ribbons 😂 and Courtney Barnhill and Nishan came to see him do that which we all loved!

Our girls did great in their classes and we were very happy with that!
We took 3 junior does and 4 yearling milkers.
The yearling milker class was 8 does

Noble’s Proper really did well going 1st in all three rings and reserve grand champion in ring 3!
And I was really excited that our homegrown doe, Capheira did so well!

Congaree HRC Lady Amber was 2nd in ring 1&2 and 1st in ring 3

Congaree HRC Silver Christine was 1st in ring 1&2 and 2nd in ring 3.

Woest-Hoeve Gabriella was 3rd in ring 1, 6th in ring 2 and 4th in ring 3.

Lost Ways Farm Thor brought home a grand champion in ring one today at the Evin Evans Buck Show! Pretty happy he’s earned his 1st leg toward his championship!
I tell you what, showing bucks is no joke. My shoulder is sore from holding back those “enthusiastic” boys 😂

Silverfire Cosmic Eclipse got 1st place in his age class twice. We’re happy with that and happy with the practice he got. Wish I had thought to get more pictures but literally the only two I had all day 🙈😂
