Walking through Rap Snacks headquarters is always an honor. This time it hits different.
My name is Romer Rivero. Fifteen years ago, I was in Caracas, Venezuela selling peanuts and ice cream on the streets. I had just graduated with a degree in Business Administration, but instead of chasing a traditional job, I decided to start at the very bottom. I sold B2C in the streets and B2B supplying food trucks and small informal retailers. No shortcuts. Just hustle, relationships, and learning the business one customer at a time.
Every long day taught me something. How to negotiate. How to build trust. How to survive. How to grow.
Ten years ago, I moved to the United States with that same mindset. I worked inside convenience stores and big box chains to understand retail from the inside out. I studied shelves, consumer behavior, logistics, margins, and ex*****on. At the same time, I started building again from zero. That vision became AI Distribution, a rapidly growing distribution company built on thinking differently, moving fast, staying ahead of trends, and sometimes even creating them.
Being at Rap Snacks HQ surrounded by some of the biggest minds in the industry, including James Lindsay and his incredibly talented team, is something I never take for granted. Inside those walls, ideas move with purpose. Product development is constant. Culture drives strategy. It is bigger than snacks. It is about impact. It is about legacy. It is about building brands that truly connect with people.
Thank you for the kind words and for allowing AI Distribution to be part of the bigger picture. I am proud of how far the journey has taken us, and even more excited about where we are going next.
From the streets of Caracas to the headquarters of one of the most iconic snack brands in the world. The mission remains the same. Stay hungry. Stay creative. Keep building.
