If you know me (Ashley), you know feeding people is my love language, a full belly is a happy heart 😜. So when it came time to plan our Open House, we knew the food had to be something special for our caseworkers, donors, and supporters. I couldn’t tackle it alone, so we reached out on social media and our #1 GC advisory board girls jumped right in. TOP. NOTCH. The way every guest gathered around the food felt just like a big family get-together… because that’s exactly what we are—the GEORGIE’S CLOSET family, hand chosen. 💛

A huge shoutout to our vendor who donated and our incredible girls who made this spread happen last night!

✨ Pris Pijus – She goes above and beyond for us week after week—bringing coffee for our bulldog, encouraging us, organizing, designing swag, cooking… she truly fills every gap. She didn’t stop there—she kept the tables filled all night!

✨ Manda Jolly – From hosting fundraisers to showing up with pizza when we had an 8-hour sprint before inspections… and that gorgeous charcuterie table? All Amanda, making sure every detail was perfect.

✨ Tallow & Tend – Thank you for the raffle basket for our caseworkers! (Congrats to winner Molly Kennedy!)

✨ Riverside Homestead – The most amazing sourdough for our dips. Even the oldest Langlois boy approved—I may have risen in the ranks after handing him an entire jalapeño-cheddar loaf to take home. 😄

✨ Charcuterie Creations by Kayla Coy – The cutest charcuterie cups ever!

✨ PoppyMac Cupcakery – These girls already hosted a cupcake fundraiser for us months ago, and still went above and beyond AGAIN with their cupcakes!

✨ 3 boys and a Baker – Cake pops… need we say more? Megan absolutely crushed it—and even surprised us with edible sugar prints of our logo!

✨ Rustic Roots Bakehouse – Muffins, cupcakes, and… Cinnabites. Drool-worthy. I made all the girls take one home for breakfast and told them to warm it for 10 seconds—pure nostalgia, like the perfect gooey center of a cinnamon roll.

✨ Angelina Hurst Hess – provided delicious gluten-free cookies to make sure even our gluten-free friends had something special to enjoy. We loved having options that made everyone feel included!

Im Kayla, the creator behind Charcuterie Creations by Kayla Coy. I’m so excited to finally share my passion for creating charcuterie with you!

What started as a simple love for hosting, good food, and bringing people together has turned into a passion for crafting charcuterie creations that are both beautiful and delicious. From cozy nights in, to family celebrations, and special events, my goal is to make your moments memorable with thoughtful presentation.

Some fun facts about myself:

-I have a bachelors degree In law enforcement and work full time at Kankakee Community College; I’ve lived in Kankakee county for 25 years, and am very passionate about the community!

-I’m a mom of 2, and am happiest when I am with my kids and family!

-I love creating; Whether it’s painting, playing piano, drawing, or making charcuterie, I’ve always had a passion for creating and making visions come to life!
