It’s hard to make poultry from the freezer look picturesque 🙂 but - as you’re planning your Easter meals consider some poultry! We have chicken, goose, and a few leftover Thanksgiving turkeys. Or-in this nice weather consider throwing one on the smoker!

Wednesday is delivery day! I’ll be in Breda, Lake View, Wall Lake, and Westside. Doorstep delivery 🙂

~Also-we have chickens, a few turkeys, and Aronia berries that I can add as well! I’m antsy to empty freezers and gear up for summer ☀️

~Everything is all natural, no added hormones; the berries are not treated chemically at all. Eggs are unwashed unless otherwise requested.

Happy January! We have the following available for butcher:

Lambs (think leg of lamb, lamb chops)

Hogs (sausage sound good? You can get different flavors. Our recent favorite is maple blueberry)

1/2 beef available (much better tasting and if doing a variety of cuts this is cheaper overall)

Brice has done some “guest speaking” over the last few years on some unique things he does on the farm. This weekend he spoke at the Practical Farners of Iowa conference to farmers about the benefits of grinding your own feed on the farm.

He works hard to make sure all of our animals are fed their proper rations with quality ingredients. We are proud he was able to share this knowledge with others! Plus-he’s the only one in our family that’s comfortable with public speaking 😂

My new favorite-homemade coffee creamer! It took less than 5 minutes to make, and it appears we are enjoying it! Our oldest boy joked the other night “I feel like I’ve never seen the inside of a grocery store” 😂 it is handy to have most of the essentials available.

We do have a limited supply of raw milk for anyone interested. It was a key ingredient for the homemade creamer, and we were spoiled with homemade ice cream for Christmas. We have gallons and pints available-can deliver locally.

The fridge is packed with eggs, stop by and grab a few dozen or let us know if we can deliver today before 2 o’clock; we can deliver again on Friday. Thank you!

Pick up on the farm is 3 dozen for $10.

Delivery is $5/dozen (to accommodate for time and gas, etc). We deliver in Wall Lake, Lake View, Westside, Carroll, and Breda.

I’m delivering everyday this week so let me know if I can drop any off for you!

Adding to this-we do not wash them as it helps the eggs keep longer. But if you prefer washed eggs just let us know, we can do that!

The chickens are getting a treat today-beans for some extra protein, fiber, and to add some variety to their diet. Fridge is full of eggs so stop by!

We’ve talked about delving into raw milk but couldn’t get our timing right. We purchased a couple of Holsteins and one is definitely a producer. We have some available for anyone interested-makes great ice cream!!
