As much as I wanted to say tonight was a successful session, it also turned into one of the most chaotic and embarrassing ones we’ve ever had.

Long story short, our baby filly got out, and one of our donkeys decided to chase her all over the field—not once, but twice. It was definitely a scary few minutes, but thankfully our little filly wasn’t hurt, no people were injured, and the donkey has officially been evicted from that pasture.

I want to sincerely apologize to the photographer and her wonderful clients for having to witness me in full panic mode. Animals are amazing, but they can also be unpredictable, and sometimes they make decisions that leave all of us scrambling.

The good news is everyone is safe, the session continued, and I’m so grateful for everyone’s patience and understanding. From the sneak peeks I saw, they still captured some absolutely beautiful photos. ❤️

Thank you all for giving us grace on the crazy farm days. They’re definitely not the moments we plan for, but they’re part of life with animals.

We’ve been staying busy at Belle farms. I’ve got a thousand side projects. Finalizing all my props for Christmas set ups. Planning a birthday party. Finishing up my main project which is the greenhouse. And now taking care of a newborn. The most beautiful newborn if I do so say so myself. Isn’t she lovely? Jules welcomed this gorgeous filly yesterday morning with no problems at all. She did amazing and is being such a wonderful momma. 😍

12-hour drive… here we come. 🫩 Goodbye, Texas.

Leaving my mom right now is one of the hardest things I’ve had to do. With everything she’s going through, I wish I could stay longer, but it’s time to head back home.

On a brighter note, Ive got a truck full of a few new props that I think y’all are going to absolutely love, and I can’t wait to show you!

I also want to apologize for being so quiet these past few days and for taking longer than usual to respond to messages. Between everything going on, traveling, and trying to juggle it all, I’m completely exhausted and feeling a little overwhelmed.

I’m really hoping to have at least one of my Christmas setups finished this week. I’m doing the best I can, and I truly appreciate everyone who’s been patient, understanding, and so incredibly kind. Your support means more to me than you’ll ever know. Thank y’all for sticking with me through all of it. ❤️
