We know ya'll love a pair, so the next one is pretty special on our list of cows having to find a new home due to us losing a lease pasture. This cow has been phenomenal for us, and she is available with a bull calf sired by a national champion on side, and exposed to our horned bull (hasn't been preg checked yet) for only 💰5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣. Red Bottoms is sired by the bull commonly known as “Sancho” who is producing banner hanging progeny in today’s show world! Red Bottoms did get to travel for a year on our show string and was named Fall Calf Reserve Champion at State Fair of Texas and was 2nd in class at all of the spring Texas open shows. She did a great job calving a heifer calf without assistance and raising her. Now she’s open and ready to continue her job for you!

Losing a lease pasture has forced us to make some decisions and let some of our cows find new pastures. The ones that we are deciding to post are certainly not culls, but happen to be at the house (Brenham, TX) with no space to move them to. First up, we have a really good pair for 3️⃣0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣.

Birdee is from the well known Lady cow family from Hoffman ranch that we acquired in the fall of 2023. She is super gentle and easy to handle with a pretty udder, and calved this nice little first time calf unassisted in late January.

Late January bull calf sired by KJ TWJ 907E Liberty 159H ET. His sire was the 2022 NWSSR Champion Bull, 2022 Cattleman's Congress Reserve Grand Champion Polled Hereford Bull, 2021 Grand Champion Bull at the American Royal, and was a JNHE Division Champion in 2021.

There’s a new showman in town! Congratulations Kiana Ongudu on your recent success at your second show ever. Kiana decided she wanted to join in on the cow showing fun this year and we can’t wait to see where the Herefords take her! Congratulations Makenzie McCullough, Ta Da, and Tank on finishing one show career out and starting another with wins at State Fair of Texas!

Champion Hereford Cow Calf Pair after being turned out to pasture as a first calf momma and not being on feed from May until September is pretty impressive! “Ta Da” is officially a retired show cow and will go out to be one of the mommas in the pasture for MCC.

We aren’t sure if Woman Crush Wednesdays are still a thing, but we sure have one. She also fits the bill for Wi******er Wednesday, or even freshly weaned Wednesday (aka Where’s my mom Wednesday). This gal is figuring out the ropes and we can’t wait to see her go to one of favorite young ladies when she does! She is out of our Anna cow and has a sister that’s still available.

We know we missed posting for Moore Cattle Co. Monday, but it was Labor Day and all the cows decided that they weren’t working, or getting worked! We are convinced that all of the girls are part hippopotamus in our herd because they love sunbathing in the cool pond. 🦛 Little baby “Tank” isn’t about getting in the tank yet, though.
