Meet the Chef

My name is Valerie Mangrum and I am a Brentwood native. Yes, there are still a few of us around. I am not a great cook. I'm not even a good cook. But I love to bake and I've been making pumpkin pies since I could reach the kitchen counter. When I take a pumpkin pie to a family gathering, an office potluck, or a church or social event, I am always amazed at the reception. People share how they've never had luck baking a pumpkin pie, have never tried it, or, sadly, just opt to buy one at the store for convenience. Now, I'm bringing this staple of holiday dining tables to you so you can serve up delicious, homemade pie at your holiday gatherings. Add that touch of home and seasonal yumminess to your spread this year and mark that one off your list!

Yippee Pie Yay came about because I enjoy making (and eating) pumpkin pies around the holidays and I'm always surprised when friends tell me they've never made one, never made one successfully, just get store-bought, or worse, go without because it's too much trouble. For years, I've "ghost baked" for friends, adding a little touch of homemade to their tables. Now, I'm expanding my services and offering to take something off your plate while putting something delicious on your table.

How It Works:
1. Place your order. Pies are 9 inches, serve 6, made from organic ingredients, prepared in and delivered to you in disposable aluminum pans.
2. Choose your pick-up method (delivery or one of several convenient pick up locations near you).
3. Pies are $25/each. Cost includes your choice of pick up date and location. Or, for +$15, we will deliver to your doorstep (within Davidson or Williamson counties).
4. Place your pie on your dining table or buffet and watch people gobble gobble.
