Both ended up with second in class and the kids did great showing them! We are super excited to watch them all grow together.

Next show is in 2 weeks at Kim Shoen, Fairmont!

A rancher's calving prayer.

Dear Lord
We are thankful for another season of new life, may we never loose our awe of the miracle of birth.
Thank you Lord for making us herdsmen. We pray we are half as good as you.
May the chains stay dry & the pullers never used.
We pray the mommas will nurture as you designed & every calf will nurse. If we need to intervene, please guide us as to the timing & the need.
Lord, we are blessed to lead this life & know that when help is needed, our good neighbors will be right there!
Whether beef or seed we pray each will do their part to nourish man.
May they gain all they can & the market stay high!

The Summit show, Sioux Falls SD did not disappoint for these pairs!

Vincent showed CF Pistol and did so good! Got Grand Champion Red Angus in Both ring A and B. We loving watching how well these two work together in the ring! Thanks Kenzie for the help!

Payslee showed CRL Inferno and did great! Ring A stood 3rd and Ring B stood 2nd! Canโ€™t wait to watch these two as the year goes on and they keeps growing!

Now for a short break from showing as calving season is upon us! Keep an eye for calf pictures to come!
