🍝🍗 Chicken and Broccoli Pasta 🍗🍝
A creamy and comforting dish that combines tender chicken, vibrant broccoli, and pasta, all enveloped in a luscious sauce for a satisfying meal.
Ingredients:
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
3 cups broccoli florets
12 oz penne pasta (or your choice of pasta)
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Add the broccoli florets during the last 2-3 minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside.
Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Sauté the Garlic: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using). Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Make the Sauce: Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer and let it cook for 2-3 minutes. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
Combine: Add the cooked pasta and broccoli back into the skillet, along with the cooked chicken. Toss everything together until well coated in the creamy sauce. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat and garnish with chopped fresh parsley. Serve warm and enjoy this delicious Chicken and Broccoli Pasta!
