Kyon Ranch/TableTop Herding Trial

All the images are now online. I was only able to shoot the Nursery class on Saturday morning, part of Sunday morning and part of Sunday afternoon. I hope I got all the dogs labeled correctly, and will apologize now, if not. There was a lot of trading spots in the run order and since I don't know everyone just yet, it made it a bit rough. I have ideas on how to manage this next time if I'm invited back! I normally have images posted within a couple days of an event, if not within 24 hours - had a lot of sorting to do.

None of the images in the galleries are edited, cropped or fixed for color - I do all of that once an image is ordered. Any questions, please feel free to reach out to me.

Kyon Ranch and TableTop Herding Trial

What an amazing weekend with two great hosts! Two different trials each day at both ranches. I don't think you could have asked for a much nicer weekend in March in Colorado, I might even say it was a bit too warm yesterday. Thank you Terri and Lisa for putting on such a great trial, I know I had a blast!

NWSS 2026 An Evening of Dancing Horses

Just having a bit of fun.................... the amount of creativity the performers bring to these shows is just amazing. While I'm shooting some of the different "stories," I'm thinking about how I can bring them more to life, simply by changing out the backgrounds.

NWSS 2026 An Evening of Dancing Horses

Last nights An Evening of Dancing Horses did not disappoint, from Greatest Showman to violens to spanish horses and Zorro! A lot of time goes into putting this event together and it shows.

It was a very pretty day with exceptional weather for ranch horse trail at stock show! Gorgeous mountains in the background.

NWSS 2026 Extreme Dogs

Tonight's Extreme Dogs did not disappoint! Was great seeing so much talent all packed inside one arena; frisbee work, agility, herding and they added a police dog demo (scent work and protection) to the event. This past year I have learned a whole lot regarding working dogs myself, in both herding and scent work, and having the time of my life. Dogs really love to to work and please their humans, all they need is a little time, direction and somebody to share that same joy with them.

All images are on the website, none of the images are edited until ordered. Once ordered they will be cropped and corrected for color.

2026 NWSS Wild West Show

Tonight's Wild West show was full of some amazing talent! All that talent leads to some pretty amazing images. I decided to try some creative editing with a few of the images just to put the riders in the right places. I've always loved the Native American Hoop Dancers and she deserved a very special edit.

I had a few people ask what else could be done with the images.......................... well, I guess it depends on where you want to go! I really love changing backgrounds of images. I also like combining more than one image, I'll work on something like that next week since I'm back to shoot the Wild West Show at the Stock Show tomorrow evening! And then Extreme Dogs!
