⬇️ Start your skin reset In Uzbekistan we have a great ancient culture dating back to the old Silk Road and it is natural for us to sew and create silk items. When I was in kindergarten I started sewing clothes for all of my dolls. When I was 1

0 I started on the loom making carpets and tapestries. When I was in the 5th grade I started taking orders to sew clothes and began using silk. This was my first business. I started in 2002 making my own plant dyes and created a rare green color for the plant based dying industry specifically for silk. I am a certified master artisan. I have had the privilege of traveling to 15 countries teaching business start up for women and selling silk items and at the same time meeting other master artisans who taught me their techniques for silk design and production. I Married Tom in 2005 in Uzbekistan and we came to the United States in 2007. I became a US citizen of a great and wonderful country. We live on 25 acres of beautiful Oklahoma land! We have 3 ponds and 10 different types of lavender. Our desire is to combine Silk products from the ancient Silk Road with Lavender and create something unique and special; a gift for everyone. You can experience where two Worlds meet together. Where the Silk Road detours to Route 66! Our desire is to create one of a kind items as each one of us is created one of a kind!

Today’s little lesson came from the garden. 💧🌻 We spend so much time looking for complicated answers, yet sometimes our bodies are asking for the basics—water, nourishment, rest and care. Today I’m especially grateful for the clean water that keeps our farm growing in this Oklahoma heat.

We believe in giving things a second life around here. 😂 Our old 100-gallon cow trough has officially become our experimental cold-plunge tub! Today wasn’t quite cold enough because the well water had been sitting in the Oklahoma sun, so next time we’re trying early morning. 💦

Cold immersion isn’t a cure-all, but people commonly use it for a temporary boost in alertness and to help reduce post-exercise muscle soreness. Start gradually—sudden cold water can sharply increase breathing, heart rate, and blood pressure, so anyone with heart or circulation problems should check with their healthcare professional first.

First-year mum grower problems. 🌸😅 Some of our emitters stopped working, so today I ended up carrying water and watering the thirsty pots by hand. If you grow mums or use drip irrigation, I’d love your advice—what do you do when emitters stop flowing?

I almost missed what was happening right in front of me. 🌻🕷️🐝
This was my first time seeing a green lynx spider with a honey bee. I tried to help the bee, but sadly I was too late. Farm life is full of beautiful discoveries, but sometimes nature shows us moments that are difficult to watch too.
