Another chicken move in the books! 🐔🌱

New grass, new bugs to hunt, new things to scratch through, and a whole lot of very happy chickens.

We move their coop and fencing regularly so they always have access to fresh ground, and the pasture gets a chance to rest and recover behind them.

Happy, healthy hens make happy, healthy eggs. 🥚

Every week, twice a week, our girls get a feast of fresh produce thanks to the Haymarket Food Pantry!!!

Instead of going to waste, these fruits and vegetables become healthy treats for our girls. It’s one small way we help reduce food waste while giving our girls a little extra variety in their diet.

Healthy hens. Less waste. Better eggs.

A huge thank you to the Haymarket Food Pantry for helping us give good food a second purpose!

Find us at Gilbert’s Corner Farmers Market from 10 AM - 3:30 PM with fresh-cut flowers and bouquets!

🚚 We also offer local delivery for eggs and flowers with at least 24 hours’ notice.

We’re so excited!!! We’ll be there!!! 🧑‍🌾😍

On August 8th from 10AM to 2PM the Fauquier Education Farm will be hosting a free community wide open house and party we're calling our Farm-ily Festival. At this time we are asking for interested vendors who would like to help us turn this into a farmers market, crafts fair and more. We'll have games and activities for kids, face painting, live animals and even a family nutrition class called "Taste the Rainbow: Nourishing Ourselves from the Farm." with Natasha's Natural Wellness. And it's all free! If you are interested in being a vendor at this event, please send us an email at [email protected] There are no vendor fees to participate. We would especially welcome as many former students from the Fauquier Education Farm programs who might be available for a pop up market. Help us make this a special event for the community!

The farm stand is OPEN today and tomorrow from 2:00-6:00 PM!

We’ll be CLOSED Thursday and Friday because of the extreme temperatures, but we’ll be offering local egg deliveries those days for $8/dozen!
