We are excited for you all to meet Kent and Shannon and the Crew!!

Those of y'all that joined us in Season one of Cast Iron Cowboy have already met the Loomis family, of the Circle L Ranch in Nebraska.

The Morrill Fire was Nebraska’s largest recorded wildfire in state history, burning more than 600,000 acres and affecting grazing lands for upwards of 35,000 cattle statewide.

And that was the fire that hit our friends at the Circle L Ranch hard — grass, fences, and years of hard-won work gone in a matter of hours. Ranching families take care of their own, and that's exactly what we want to do here.

So what do we do when friends are in need? We help out!

On September 19th, in Bridgeport, Nebraska, join Kent Rollins and the chuck wagon crew for an old-fashioned cowboy steak supper, cooked the way it's always been done — over the coals, out of the wagon, with the kind of food that built the West. Kent and Shannon will be right there in the middle of it, feeding the crowd and telling a few stories along the way, with a little entertaining from Kent to round out the evening.

We want to graciously thank Certified Angus Beef for donating the steaks for this meal!

The evening will begin with a complimentary cocktail hour with a cowboy signature cocktail or wine followed by a full Certified Angus Beef steak dinner and entertainment provided by Kent.

Every plate served, every ticket sold, goes straight toward helping the Circle L rebuild, fence line by fence line, acre by acre.

Come hungry. Come ready to laugh. Come help a ranching family get back on their feet.

Our Sand Hills Are Turning Green 🌱

Just a few months ago, these hills were black, gray and covered in ash. The “Beast” left our landscape hard to recognize—and a lot of questions about what would come next.

But lately, we’ve been getting rain, and we’re starting to see the reward. Little by little, the Sandhills are turning green again. 🌧️🌱 The tops of the hills aren’t blowing sand as they were.

We now that the land isn’t fully recovered but it sure looks better than it did. There is still a long road ahead as far as our grazing and haying normal life looks like but we are sure thankful for the green grass and weeds that are showing up.

It is a reminder that burned doesn’t mean broken.

This land is resilient. The roots held on. The rain came. And God is bringing life back to these hills—one blade of grass at a time.

There is still a lot to rebuild, but today we’re stopping to celebrate the green.

After the fire, the rain feels a little more like a blessing. Hope is starting to show. 🤍

We are so grateful for the time, effort, and generosity you poured into helping us through this season of rebuilding. Your kindness and support mean more than you know.

We are truly blessed by the people who continue to show up, stand beside us, and help us keep moving forward. Thank you for being part of our Circle.

All my memories lately have been of us in the hayfields, it’s so weird not to driving a tractor right now. It’s also stressful knowing that we can not hay our meadows this year. The good news, God has been giving us some rain!! The green is really coming along and the sand isn’t blowing as bad.
