just a quick lil update❤️
we are still actively looking for a spot, we haven’t let go of hope yet. we miss seeing yall everyday. and we sure as heck miss making some good sandwiches for yall.
we hope you guys are all good, and we hope you enjoy the holidays the next couple months!
we will let yall know as soon as we find something!!!

i just wanted to take a moment before weeks went by because i know how busy life can get- and say thank you to everyone who came in this past week and expressed how much they are going to miss us. to the people who have reached out and let us know about other options for places, coming in to get their orders one (or two) last time, and to just letting us know that we are their favorite deli and will miss us. we’ve been overwhelmed with all the love. we didn’t think our small family deli truly made this many people happy with our food- and that’s always been our biggest goal.
i know my mom has had a rough couple days and i can say on her behalf that all the love and support for this deli has been appreciated more than words can express. and i promise we are doing our best looking for a new location. we’ve been grateful for this experience and to not be here is a really weird feeling. thank you for being the best customers and thank you for giving us the love. we really have needed it.

We are deeply devastated, that we have to share this-

We will be closed after 7/3 permanently, at our location due to the building, going on the market, for sale. We weighed out the option of renewing the lease, in the mean time, while the building would be on the market but we came to the conclusion it probably wouldn’t be what’s best.

Over the last three years, we got to know our customers on a personal level. Whether it was just your simple small talk, watching the kids who came over for the summers, while they worked at CCE, our blue collar workers who bring the entire crew in, as my daughter would call her “adopted” grandparents who came in for their weekly sit in breakfast or lunch, our regulars who have their orders on our fridge, the people who shout us out daily on ulster eateries unfiltered, and to the customers who have been with us since day one and watched us grow. We have appreciated every single one of you, seriously. I know a lot of people say that, but as the owners who had a dream you guys helped make it thrive for the last three years and without you guys we wouldn’t have been here. This isn’t goodbye forever, just for a little bit. Our facebook will always be open if you have a question about anything and if you ever want some insane cupcakes, the girl who makes them will always be open to making some for y’all.

A big thank you, to the Deisings family, for being amazing landlords and believing in our dream and vision as much as us. Their guidance, support and advice went beyond what most landlords do. They are a small local family business that wanted to help, another small local family business.

And lastly, a huge thank you to our immediate family- without you standing by us as we did this, we wouldn’t have gotten as far as we did. Thank you for believing in our goals and dreams and helping in anyway that you could. Thanking you for holding our household down while we spent many hours at the deli working and for you dedicating the last three years in helping us.

With that, we hope to see you on our last few days on broadway. And if not, we hope to see you at the next location.
