Happy Birthday to you in Heaven, Walker

Today we celebrate what would have been your 10th birthday. We honor this milestone as much as we miss your sweet smile and your gentle and peaceful spirit.

You were a shy boy with the kindest heart. You never had to be the loudest in the room to make an impression. Your sweetness, your curiosity, and the love you shared with all of us left a permanent impression that will never leave.

Some of our favorite memories of you are from the family farm, exploring, playing, and finding joy in the simple things. Whether you were outside enjoying the fresh air—often still wanting to be in your pajamas—or inside building incredible worlds in Minecraft, your imagination knew no limits. You also adored baseball and basketball, not for the competition, but simply for the love of the game.

Though your time with us was far too short, the love you shared and the memories we have will stay with us forever. We miss hearing your laughter, watching you play your favorite games, and feeling the happiness you gifted our family.

We know you’re celebrating in Heaven. Running through endless fields, playing baseball and basketball, and building the most wondrous Minecraft worlds anyone could ever imagine.

Happy 10th birthday, sweet boy. We love you beyond words, we miss you every single day, and we carry you with us in our hearts wherever we go.
