Prepping up some sunchokes today!!! What is a sunchoke? It's a root cluster to sunflower that grows in North America that cooks off like a potato or a parsnip. So when you're driving and see wild sunflowers these bad boys are down there supporting them!!
They are also known as Jerusalem artichoke or sunroot. Either name its a tasty treat!

Well I posted it earlier on my personal account, but me and my husband are officially announcing that we are opening our own restaurant together! It's called Nātv and will be a farm to table that is focused on bringing Native American dishes to a modern forefront. I of course will be the executive chef and will be able to get back to bringing you tasty, beautiful food very soon.
