Every detail has a story and every story has a purpose. 🥃

From the agave to the final pour, nothing about Manuscrito Chapter One was designed by accident, including the label.

Every element, line, and detail on the label was thoughtfully chosen to represent something about who we are, where we come from, and the tequila we make.

Swipe through to uncover the meaning behind Chapter One because when it comes to Manuscrito, every detail matters.

One team. One goal. 💙🥃

On October 17th, the Breakthrough T1D Walk is bringing people together to raise money and awareness in the fight to find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes, a cause that hits close to home for Manuscrito co-founder Mike, who has lived with T1D himself.

Mike’s team, Bogy’s Ballers, is walking to help push research forward and support the millions of people living with Type 1 Diabetes.  The walk will take place at Greenfield Park in West Allis, WI.

Want to join the team? Want to help from the sidelines? The link in our bio will take you to Mike’s team page where you can sign up to walk with Bogy’s Ballers or make a donation.

And because we believe giving back deserves a little extra incentive… 👀

🥃 Every $20 donated to Mike’s Team = 1 entry for your chance to win Manuscrito swag + bottles of tequila.  The cutoff for entry will be 11:59pm CDT on Saturday, October 10th.  Winners will be announced Friday, October 16th.

So grab your friends, join the team, make a donation, and help us raise a glass to a future without T1D.  See you October 17th. Let’s make a difference together. 💙

Every bottle of Manuscrito starts with years of hard work. 🌱🥃

This Labor Day we’re raising a glass to the jimadores of El Sabino Distillery, the people who dedicate their days to cultivating, caring for, and harvesting the agave that becomes Manuscrito Tequila.

For 6–8 years, these plants are nurtured before they’re ready for harvest. Then, the jimadores step in, carefully removing the leaves and harvesting the mature agave by hand.

It’s work that requires patience, skill, and a deep respect for the land and it’s a tradition that can be tasted in every pour.

¡Salud to the jimadores! 🥃

Tacos, tequila, live music… last Saturday night in Madison was an incredible night! 🌮🥃🎶

More than 175 people came out to the Garver Feed Mill for the Taco & Tequila Fest, put on by Garver Events, and we were thrilled to be part of the party.  Mike and Amber were on-site pouring Manuscrito Tequila samples all night long while guests worked their way through tacos, live music, and plenty of good times.

For those looking to pick up a bottle of Manuscrito Tequila, please visit the find us tab on our website for an interactive map of the closest stores in Madison.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by for a pour and to Garver Events for bringing the whole thing together. Until the next one! 🍹

Tennessee, you’ve officially entered the Manuscrito story. 🤠🎸

For this week’s , we’re celebrating the launch of Manuscrito Tequila in the Volunteer State!

Jake and Mike were in Nashville last week to celebrate the launch and their wives, Meghan and Amber, came along for the adventure. Between exploring the city, meeting new friends, and raising a few glasses, it was the perfect way to start this next chapter.

Our initial launch is kicking off in the Nashville area, so keep your eyes peeledyou might just spot Manuscrito on a shelf near you. 👀

A huge thank you to The Tequila Cop and Nashville Wh***ey House for hosting us and helping us celebrate the launch. We’re incredibly excited to become part of the Tennessee tequila community.

Now we want to hear from you, where in Tennessee do you want to see Manuscrito next? 👇🥃

There’s no better place to photograph Manuscrito than the place where it all comes together.

Surrounded by wildflowers, resting on the stone fences overlooking the agave fields, and sitting outside the home where so many of the ideas behind Manuscrito have taken shape. These are the views that make El Sabino Distillery so special.

Every visit reminds us why we fell in love with this place in the first place. A little piece of El Sabino goes into every bottle. 🥃

For today’s , we’re taking Chapter 2 down to Veracruz, Mexico, thanks to our friend Beto.

We love seeing where Manuscrito finds its way, and these photos perfectly capture the spirit of taking a bottle along for the adventure. From the Highlands of Jalisco to the coast of Veracruz, every place has its own story to tell.

A huge thanks to Beto for bringing Chapter 2 along and sharing these incredible shots with us!

Great tequila takes time and for Manuscrito tequila, we’re willing to wait. 🧱

At the heart of Manuscrito’s process are the traditional stone brick ovens at El Sabino Distillery, where our agave piñas are slowly cooked for at least two days.

It’s a simple, time-honored process but one that plays a crucial role in developing the cooked agave character and extracting the deep, natural flavors we want to carry through into every bottle.

No rushing. No shortcuts. Just heat, time, and generations of tequila making tradition.
