Food at was phenomenal from first bite to last, and the sushi here easily ranks among my favorites in Atlanta.
Overall experience
Each piece came out one at a time, so you really get to slow down and taste everything instead of rushing through a big plate. The rice was warm, seasoned just right, and packed loosely enough that it melted with the fish instead of falling apart. The chef and staff kept the vibe intimate and relaxed, which made the whole meal feel special instead of stuffy.
Sushi highlights
• Toro topped with caviar was buttery and rich, with just enough brininess to balance the fat.
• The different cuts of tuna were super fresh and clean-tasting, with a glossy texture that you can literally see in the photo.
• Uni was incredibly creamy and sweet, no bitterness at all, and they were generous with the portion.
• The grilled piece (looks like eel/anago) had a beautiful char and caramelized sauce that gave you that perfect sweet-savory bite.
• Hand rolls were packed with filling and crisp nori, so every bite had a great contrast of crunch, warm rice, and silky seafood.
Ambience and value
The counter setup lets you watch each piece being made right in front of you, which adds to the experience and makes every bite feel custom. Portions were satisfying without being heavy, and the quality of the fish absolutely matches the price point. This is the kind of omakase I’d recommend for a date night or celebration, and I’d definitely come back for another round.
