Happy Birthday to the backbone of the farm 🤎

No project, idea or dream is too big for this man to try to tackle, but I’m most grateful for how he keeps us so grounded in the process. We probably could’ve completed triple the amount of projects if we didn’t have pups stuck to us like glue all day! But I’d honestly rather be covered in glue 🤎

Despite this being our worst dahlia season to date, these beauties rallied & put on some gorgeous blooms 🌸

I always love seeing the bees go bananas over the single & collarette seedlings 🌸

Terracotta Celosia in all its coppery rose gold glory ✨

Filler flowers rarely get much attention. This lovely variety is great both fresh or dried & the color works so well with just about any arrangement. She’s an easygoing variety to grow!

Beauty truly grows wild here on the farm 🍇

This arrangement includes vibrant American beautyberry (Callicarpa americana) - a native shrub here in South GA that makes an appearance on the woodland edges of the farm from Aug - Nov (assuming the birdies don’t get to all of them before late fall!)

They are such a unique addition to floral work - stand alone branches as a statement piece or a few branches mixed with other florals are sure to make heads turn 💜
