Still processing apples. We canned apple pie filling yesterday. And all the jars sealed. So I’d call that a win.

I’m hoping to get the apple scrap syrup done today, but I have to wait until the beans have finished pressure canning because my stove just isn’t big enough for it all.

Hopefully this picture will show up, yesterday’s didn’t and this won’t make much sense without it.

Victoria’s eyes always startle me. I’m almost 100% sure she carries dun which is why she has such a light eye. (I need to look at her genetic testing again.)

I can’t wait to see what her baby will look like with her fluff and then eye color I’m going to guess it’ll be cute.

Good morning!

The girls were patiently waiting on hay. I love seeing the different personalities and between Maribell and the older dexters like Victoria we have all of them.

Impatiently grabbing a bite every single chance she can to... it'll come when it comes. Pretty sure there is a life lesson in that.

We had a great day yesterday. We spent the night camping at our parents place. So now its time to pack everything up and get home to the animals.

We are so blessed to add some of the finest genetics in our area to our herd!

We've been waiting on these girls for months, and we're excited to finally have them home.

A lot of time, hard work, and love have gone into these cattle, and we hope to continue building on what Skip has worked so hard to establish.

A big thank you to Tinney's Red Dexters for letting us bring a little piece of your herd home with us. We sure appreciate it and can't wait to see what these girls will produce in the future!

Yes my kitchen is a disaster don’t worry I’ll start on that as the pies bake.
