This was two days ago the water’s already receded. But I’ve never seen it come up this fast or quite this high. We normally have water run through our bottom when it rains a lot but not like this. We had over 5 inches in just a couple hours.

Good morning!

It’s not normally a lake back here even though I wouldn’t mind a small pond. Even the 5 foot t-posts were covered. It was a crazy storm yesterday.

Change of plans we will be working in our basement today! The backside of our French drain was plugged and the storm was a little too intense to go out in the amount of water we had sitting…. Trust me I tried. When lightening hits the water it feels like the shock of an electric fence. I was lucky it wasn’t more.

Good morning!

Tinkerbell is doing so well! Her heels are almost on the ground and her hind end is loosening up. The kids even said they saw her buck and kick yesterday.

Here’s to a new week! Hope it start off well.

Ours is starts ofd with chores, breakfast, and then swim team.

I picked up this rose earlier this spring. It was on the half dead rack at Lowe’s which just happens to be my favorite place to shop. I’m so excited to see her showing off.

The piggies are growing. Still not big enough for their feeders that they can’t stand in but we will get there eventually.
