riences, restaurants, etc. to create your own cooking technique. TABLE - My inspiration for Hearth & Table is to bring us, as a culture and a society back to the table. A table is a landmark for family and friends to gather, to share food and experiences. The symbol of the table is a place where we can create dialogue, discussion…and most importantly a place where we can create memories and laughter.

Yesterday we celebrated 11 years married and 20 years together. It doesn’t seem so long ago that I met you at Saci in Firenze. You were my cute and cocky TA for my graphic design course. Despite my efforts to seem uninterested, I was smitten. It has been an incredible journey so far, never boring or lacking love. Happy Anniversary! I love you!

Gearing up for a big wedding this weekend. After shopping and prepping all day the last thing I want to do is cook. Here is a farmer’s market nacho dump. I took every veggie and sautéed them with cumin, smoked paprika, garlic and some chipotle, some Rambler cheese, a simple guac and voila, you have a healthy-ish dinner for my family of four.

This man hates celebrating his birthday which is really hard for me because I love celebrating him. I think he is simply the best, and Ollie and Lucca look at him as their adoring superhero Dad. He is a smart, talented, creative, loving, adventurous and a passionate fellow, but what I love most about him is that he is always looking to become a kinder and more loving version of himself then he was the year before. You are so special to your family and friends . I love you. Happy birthday!

Happy birthday to my beautiful sister! She is the life of the party. Always up for an adventure, infecting us with her laugh. Never dull, filled with ideas, hopes and dreams and doing all she can to make them come true. She is the best and I love her!
