The Maids: Jean Genet Through a Digital Looking Glass

When I arrived in DUMBO to see The Maids at St. Ann's Warehouse, I got lost. The entrance wasn't where I expected it to be, so I circled the building looking for the right door. i am a woman of many interests and hobbies, and though my niche is obviously books and food, i’ve been venturing into sharing other things i like lately: video games being one of those things (particularly of the retro variety). though i like to think there’s a lot of literary overlap, especially as it comes to narrative storytelling within a gaming format.

this is all just to say, if you like books and food, but also video games, writing, new york city, theatre, ‘90s nostalgia, iPods, crossword puzzles, diy miniature kits, altoid tin dioramas (y’all know nothing about meee), and apparently heated rivalry (my current watch), then stick around 🖤
