Did you know that Iris flowers when spent contain lots of water and the purple ones make a great dye? Last pic shows eggs colored with iris petals. Cool, right?!!! 😊💐🥚

Created an artificial swarm today. Grabbed the queen and several frames of brood in all stages (BIAS) from an over wintered hive.
Left the original overwintered hive with a few queen cells that had larva and royal jelly.
It’s swarm season!!!!!
