Garlic Butter Ground Beef Linguine with Velveeta Cream Sauce

Ingredients:
- 12 oz linguine
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp parsley
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 cup broth (chicken or beef as appropriate)
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 6 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 oz cream cheese, cubed
Directions:
1. Begin by cooking the linguine according to the package instructions. Once done, drain and set it aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter together over medium heat until fragrant.
3. Toss in the diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion becomes translucent and lovely.
4. Next, add the ground beef, cooking until it’s wonderfully browned. Don’t forget to drain any excess fat!
5. Season the mixture with parsley, garlic powder, salt, and a bit of black pepper.
6. Sprinkle the flour over the beef mixture and stir for about a minute to get things mixed well.
7. Gradually pour in the broth while stirring continuously until the mixture thickens up nicely.
8. Lower the heat and gently mix in the heavy cream and those delicious Velveeta cheese cubes.
