It’s a bittersweet day over here… today was my last microgreens delivery for 3rd Acre Farm.
When we first partnered with Shady Oaks LLC I truly thought it would simply allow us to expand grow a little more, offer a little more, and keep building what we had started. But as I’ve walked this out, it’s become really clear that God has something different in mind for me in this season… something bigger than I can fully see yet.
And if I’ve learned anything, it’s that when He makes it clear, you follow...even when it means letting go of something good.
So with a lot of prayer and peace, we’ve officially transitioned all of our microgreens customers over to Shady Oaks. I have full confidence in them, and I know they’re going to continue providing the same fresh, high-quality, locally grown product that you’ve come to expect.
Microgreens aren’t going anywhere, they’ll just be grown by a different set of hands. And maybe a little later down the road we will offer them again for farm pickup.🌱
To all of our customers who have supported this part of the farm over the years… thank you. Truly. You’ve been a part of something special for our family, and I’m so grateful. This isn’t the end of 3rd Acre Farm it’s just a shift. And I’m excited to see what grows next!
We do still have about 20 pasture-raised chickens available for our May 16th harvest if you’ve been waiting for the next round. This will be our last flock until late September/early October—so if you want one, now’s the time
