Hard days of the 2% :
Sometimes days on the farm are a little harder than usual. We have had two let go of two furry friends this past week.
We had to say good bye to Freya (one of our juvenile goat babies) as she was doing goat things and ended up with a broken compound fracture that couldnโt be repaired to give her a good quality of life and we had to say good bye to one of our furry house cats (Aithusa) she has been with us for a very long 12 years, as she had a cancerous mass that was making her quality of life decline we agreed it was time.
We canโt thank ASAP Brooksville veterinary enough for helping us get our furry friend to the heavenly rainbow as kind and peaceful as they could offer. So many of us couldnโt stop balling as she got so many extra hugs and pets before leaving this earth, but we are all thankful for our friend to be pain free joining her sister. โค๏ธ
Not to mention weโve had some more car trouble this week:
Thankfully it is a small fix and she is getting back on the road for this weekend but milk will be very limited this weekend so please bare with us as we will need to shuffle pickup days a little bit and possibly deliveries if we do not have enough.
Our cows milk provider had a rough last week as well as there milk tank went down on the and they have lost hundreds to thousands of gallons of milk.
