While we were re-cooperating we made a few livestock decisions

We will be re-homing a heifer calf (cream), a bull calf (brown) and have 1 1/2 unspoken for freezer-ready pig shares available.

Heifer calf Mom and dad in photos, light brown momma, auburn bull
Bull calf Mom and dad in photos, black momma, same auburn bull

They’re not our pets or projects so we do not touch, them daily. They come for grain. Dad is the best ❤️🐮

They can go separate, but are really a fun pair (I can send a video separate of them playing).

The pigs are pasture pigs, Idaho Pasture Pigs to be specific, so are a combination of the original Duroc, old Berkshire, and Kunekune breeds. They have a more red meat and are higher in Omegas. Can bring to butcher or you can pick up and bring to your place of choice.

Will be bringing shares to SWFL end of June if you want to add a stop on.

There was a hint in here about a big project we’re finalizing, did you happen to catch it? 👀

We are getting an over abundance of eggs this season, an extra 10 dozen a week.
Let us know if you want to arrange pickup throughout the week for the freshest, unwashed eggs

Monopoly?
I spy?
Sorry?
Hide and seek?

What was your favorite game as a kid?
Why stop your youthful endeavors?
With homesteading, you can play all of the above!

Today was both hide and seek and I spy

Thankfully, it hasn’t rained because these are from a cleanup last week 🙃

It’s hard to tell from the picture, but my one heifer adopted my scrawny fawn-like bull
She’s been letting them tandem nurse for about a week
I haven’t wanted to disturb them but I’m so happy 🎉🎉
