Not all things here are sunshine and rainbows. We’ve waited it seems endlessly for our goslings to hatch but unfortunately this one didn’t make it. We still have 2 more eggs in the incubator. All of our eggs were laid at different times so we will wait again and hope for a better ending.

Welcome to Avian Acres of Brooksville, Ky. It’s a small 6 acres of birds, dogs, cats, ferrets, and family. People ask me how I became a “bird lady” I just say, I’m not sure it just happened! I am a chronic animal lover and along with my family who sometimes think I’ve lost my mind we have built this small paradise in the middle of nowhere!
