If you've had goats for very long, you've heard of FAMACHA, the system of checking a goat's eyelids for anemia, which is the major symptom of barber pole worm. But it is so much more than simply checking a goat's eyelids!

FAMACHA instructors teach goat owners all about the intestinal worm life cycle and how to use that knowledge to better manage parasites in their goats. Unless your goats have been living in a sterile room since birth, parasites are inevitable. But that does not mean that you have to be routinely giving your goats dewormers or herbs to keep them healthy.

She appears to have no neck 😳, but she is blowing out her winter coat and is still very fluffy.

Her dam, Tachi, was tragically taken much too soon. She sadly never got to reveal her potential. High hopes for this girl.
