šŸ¾ Sweet kitty looking for a loving home šŸ¾

We believe this sweet little kitty may have been dumped here on our property. She showed up not in the best condition, and I just couldnā€™t leave her without helping her.

She is gray with beautiful long hair and is incredibly sweet and friendly. I believe she is a female.

Iā€™ve been taking care of her for the last couple of days. Today she got a much-needed bath and flea treatment because, poor baby, she was absolutely covered in fleas. Her eyes were also very goopy, so Iā€™ve been cleaning them and treating them with antibiotic eye ointment.

Even after everything she has apparently been through, she is SO loving and friendly. She really deserves a safe home and someone to love her. šŸ„¹ā¤ļø

I would keep her in a heartbeat, but we already have five cats, and I just canā€™t add another one to our crew.

Around here, milk isnā€™t just milk, it comes from a cow we know, love, and care for every single day.

Look at the bottom of your bottleā€™s label and youā€™ll find the name, and even a little picture, of the girl who gave you that milk. Whether itā€™s Cassie, Lassie, or Bean, you get to know exactly who filled your jar!

Itā€™s one of my favorite little details about our farm. We want you to feel connected to where your food comes from and to the animals behind it.

We are incredibly grateful for every person who stops by, leaves a kind note, shares a conversation, supports our family farm, or simply chooses to shop local. What started as a dream has been such a blessing to our family, and we never take your support for granted.

While we wonā€™t have our usual baked goods at the stand this Saturday, we have something special for you instead! šŸŒø

Weā€™ve partnered with Amy from Dahlia Trail Farms to bring beautiful fresh flower arrangements to the stand this weekend.

Amy has created a truly special place at her flower farm. In addition to growing gorgeous blooms, she pours her heart into working with children through her farm school, teaching them valuable life skills, responsibility, creativity, and a love for nature. I deeply admire the work she does and the impact sheā€™s making on the next generation.

One of the things I love most about being part of a small community is supporting local families who are making a difference, and Amy is certainly one of those people. When you purchase one of her beautiful bouquets, youā€™re not only bringing home fresh flowers, youā€™re also supporting a farm and a mission that invests in children and their future.

This is our sweet and stubborn Cassie! Over the next few days, we will be drying her off so she can focus her energy on growing her baby instead of producing milk. Cassie has been giving us her delicious milk for about a year now. She is due to calve in September, and this rest period is an important part of keeping both mama and baby healthy.

Because of this, our milk supply will be affected for the next couple of months. We will do our very best to continue fulfilling the orders of our regular customers, and we are hopeful that we will still have some Grab & Go bottles available from time to time.

We kindly ask for your patience and understanding as we navigate this transition. Small family farms naturally go through seasons like this, and we appreciate your support more than you know.

Thank you for being part of our Dream to Gather Farm family. We are already looking forward to welcoming Daisy šŸŒ¼, Cassieā€™s new calf this fall!

Just a little heads up for our customersā€¦

We will be taking a few weekends off over the next couple of months to slow down and spend some much needed time with family.

Closed dates: June 13th ā€¢ July 25th ā€¢ August 15th

Even though the stand will be closed for baked goods, we will still be fulfilling milk & eggs orders on those weekends for our regular customers. šŸ„›šŸ„š

Thank you all so much for always supporting our little farm and understanding the importance of family time. We appreciate every single one of you more than you know!
