Besides just tasty food, they have amazing customer service landing them a spot on our preferred vendor list! “Ryan Purdom’s story starts as a humble dishwasher at 82 Market and Diner in Bell Buckle. Purdom began working at the country diner right out of high school. He continued to work there while he put himself through college and later Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) school. Purdom’s original intention for working at the diner was solely a financial decision. He wanted to create a bit of cash flow for himself. However when Ryan got a shot at holding the tongs himself, he wound up falling in love with the craft of preparing mouth-watering meals. In 2017 our daughter planned on getting married in the field between the two beautiful tress, but the lingering effects of Hurricane Harvey stopped that plan. The field was soaked from all the rain and it was supposed to rain the day of the wedding. I was stressing because we had more people than the overhang would hold. However the Lord blessed us and it stopped raining the morning of the wedding. The men rushed and moved the benches and the ceremony to the gravel road entering the beautiful barn. It was such a beautiful ceremony. I just wanted to share that there are so many options for this venue!
Hannah and Isaac are looking forward to getting married at Avans Farm Weddings this coming October!
