OK, I’m going to bed 😂 but first, on a less serious note… what are y’all cooking for the game Saturday?! 🏈💜💛 Me and Mr. Yummy LIVE FOR COOKING FOR FOOTBALL GAMES! We will be in the kitchen making boudin egg rolls, POSSIBLY crab Rangoon eggrolls, jambalaya, and a side that is still TBD because apparently we like to keep a little suspense in the menu. Ok- I have been keeping up for you! So LAST ONE for the night… I think lol 😝 REALLY- who knows?
🐯⚖️ LSU just scored one in the COURTROOM! 😂 A Baton Rouge judge has issued a preliminary injunction blocking the NCAA and SEC from enforcing the eligibility rules at the center of this fight, potentially clearing the way for LSU to roster former NFL players while the case continues. Now before anybody starts celebrating or throwing furniture 😂, this thing is NOT over. The SEC still has its separate federal lawsuit against LSU. But after everything that happened today, LSU definitely just walked away with a pretty big win tonight. 👀🍿🏈 What a time to be a college football fan! 😳🤣🤦🏼‍♀️❤️

🏈 Well… the LSU vs. SEC courtroom drama has officially reached another level. SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey reportedly had to have special security at the Baton Rouge courthouse today after threats connected to the case, including being brought in and out through a private entrance. That’s wild… He also spent nearly three hours testifying. At this point we’ve got LSU, the SEC, state AND federal courts, the Georgia Attorney General… and now courthouse security. 😳 This is supposed to be COLLEGE FOOTBALL. 😂🍿

If you’re lost like I was before some research-
Essentially we have:
Players: “The new eligibility rules should let us come back.”
LSU/Kiffin: “If they’re legally eligible, we want to use them.”
SEC: “You agreed to OUR conference rules, and former pros aren’t playing in this league.”
Louisiana court: “Hold up. You may not be allowed to punish them for this.”
SEC: “Fine. We’ll sue LSU in federal court.”
Georgia AG: “And maybe kick LSU out of the SEC.”

College football has apparently decided the preseason needed a courtroom bracket. 😂 We have officially entered the “WHAT ARE WE EVEN DOING?” era. LSU and the SEC are battling it out in court over whether players who’ve already signed with or spent time on NFL teams should be allowed to come BACK and play college football. 🏈 So I wanna know what y’all think… Should a former NFL player EVER be allowed to come back and play COLLEGE football if he still has NCAA eligibility? 👀 I already know this comment section is about to turn into its own SEC Championship. 😂🍿
All I know is I’m ready for SATURDAY!
