Our turkey hen, Jenny, took off a few weeks ago and has only made a few trips back to the house since then. Chris followed her back yesterday and found out where she’s been going. Sweet girl just wants to be a momma, she’s sitting on 14 eggs ❤️

Yesterday morning, the pigs decided the electric fence was more of a suggestion and absolutely blew through it. 🤦🏼‍♀️

In the midst of that chaos, we also:

✨Saved a newborn raccoon (now at rehab)
✨Lost our squirrel 🐿️💔😔
✨Pigs ran over a mile, crossed the highway twice, and outran us like it was a sport 🐷
✨Chris got absolutely violated by thorn bushes
✨I sliced my ankle on barbed wire

We finally decided “F them pigs, we’ll get new ones.”

Today… they’re on the front porch with the dogs like nothing happened. 🙄

And before anyone asks — the third animal in the pictures is NOT a pig… it’s our fat beagle.

We don’t own this farm. They do 🙃
