We butchered and processed our first few lambs from this year - while we don’t offer this service to our customers, it’s a humbling process that we’ve done for our personal freezer and friends and family for several years.

We’re proud and so excited to see our product first hand and the quality of carcass this crop has offered

If you are in the market for a full lamb for your freezer - we have 12 more ready to go the 1st of November.

Again - we will not be processing any lambs, but can recommend a couple local butcher shops to take them to

We usually get quite a few questions when we tell people about khatadin/dorper cross - specifically when we tell them that they’re “hair sheep”!

🤨 ← is literally the look we get 😂

So here’s a good visual! Both the khatadin and the dorper breed are known for their low maintenance, hair coat & shedding their coat each year, no need for shears. It’s a lot like if wool & goat hair had a baby - it’s repels water is rain storms, creates a coat in the winter & rubs off in the summer leaving a clean slick coat in the hot months.

They also do not product lanolin, which is the oil found in wool that creates more of a strong “lamb” flavor. This cross has a milder taste, making it our preferred lamb meat.

We have 15 dorper x katahdin ewe lambs born February for sale and ready to go in northeastern Wyoming. Come from really well tempered, prolific commercial ewes (first picture). Pasture raised/grass fed. Would make for a great starter flock! Message for more info. May consider delivery no more than 5 hours from Buffalo WY
