On May 13th, the Bull Shoals Food Pantry received a Grant for the sum of $2000 from the Twin Lakes Giving Tree. Jim Kuchenbecker voluntarily wrote and submitted the forms for the annually sought-after grant. The total amount will be used to purchase various nutritional foods. With the recent loss of the Bull Shoals Dollar General, who supplied our Pantry with a weekly donation, this additional funding is a true blessing.

Fill-a-Cruiser Food Drive

Thanks to the efforts of the Bull Shoals Police Department and helpers, the Bull Shoals Food Pantry received five (5) full carts of food and personal items. The Black Bird Cafe donated a $3.00 coffee coupon to each person making a contribution. It is always wonderful to see two entities come together to aid a third. Very creative! Thank you again to all who voluntered with coordination and to those who donated.

The Bull Shoals Food Pantry extends a huge, heart-felt thank you to all our local communities. Their generous contributions toward the purchase of a badly needed A/C-heat pump has pulled the Pantry out of the danger zone and into sunny skies. Funds received have been through sales of a Pantry trailer, other volunteer organizations (Church Groups, Yellville Thrift Shop, Bull Shoals VFW), KTLO radio, and several citizen donations. Again, thanks to all the people of our communities who made positive things happen.
