Emma and I spotted a bald eagle close to the house! 🦅🤍
I’ve never seen one that close in person & Emma has never seen one before!

Bald eagle sightings are becoming more common across Kentucky, especially from September through March as migrating and wintering eagles arrive. They’re often spotted near our lakes and rivers, where they can catch fish.

A fun fact to share with your kiddos: bald eagles don’t get that beautiful white head and tail until they’re about 5 years old! 🦅

Such a special moment to experience with my girl. Have y’all spotted any around here?
