Meet Gwen, aka Gwennie Girl! She’s a Red Sexlink, meaning she’s a blend of Rhode Island Red and a lighter breed (likely a Delaware). I estimate her to be about 4 years old. She’s a great layer, and is the last of my original flock 🥹 She’s the true OC (original chicken). She’s so so sweet and loves treats!!

Our festivities over last weekend! We spent SO much time outside since the weather has improved. We bought chicks, planted seeds, cleaned up limbs on the property, spoiled our chickens, packaged butt nuggets for our local supporters, and started our sourdough journey 🍞
