Just a little reminder that we are closed this week. Preordering for next Monday and Tuesday will be available starting this Wednesday. Also we are not doing a Saturday popup the next two weeks but are considering one for the Saturday of Halloween, weather depending!

We are off this week is that Mara is on a work trip with her other job. She handles operations, logistics and a lot of networking with a non-profit called One Fish Foundation. She is currently in Hawaii helping to connect chefs and community members to the fishers and seafood harvesters on the island. Her work is all about making sure people have the knowledge about and access to sustainable seafood that also benefits the local families that go out onto the ocean to catch it.
She has been a part of the food communities that are part of this work for almost two decades now and it is truly wonderful to see her able to go meet and work in those communities in person. The food action work she does connects our small efforts here to feed people here to a larger global network that is doing the same thing everywhere. It's time to get your Chile fix!
We will be closed for the week of October 12th.

We are delivering Breakfast tomorrow morning with all our fall favorites!
First up: Our PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE SCONES!
These scones feature fresh roasted winter squash, fresh ground seasonal spices, whole grains, topped with espresso glaze, dried ginger and a whole lot of cozy vibes!
Second: We have spicy spinach Quelites as the veggie addition to all of our breakfast and dinner meals!
Finally: Keep an eye on our Ranchita Pantry items dropping each week through the fall starting when we get back on October 19th!

GOOD MORNING!

STOP BY TRACY DRIVE FOR PRODUCE & PASTRIES!
The garden made it through a couple of cold nights and still has some great fall vegetables to share.
Plus, Mara is out of town for a work trip and I have gone plum-crazy with fruits we picked last weekend!
Yes, we picked a lot of plums.
I made some plum tortes, plum cardamom rolls and Russian style black bread that I am serving with a side of plum jam. I consider it an early fall preparation for the abundance of other orchard fruits.

THIS WEEK WE START TO LAUNCH OUR FALL FLAVORS!
First up: Our PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE SCONES!
These scones feature fresh roasted winter squash, fresh ground seasonal spices, whole grains, topped with espresso glaze, dried ginger and a whole lot of cozy vibes!
Next up: THIS IS YOUR LAST WEEK TO GET CALABACITAS! Time to switch over to spicy spinach as our seasonal veggie starting next week.

Finally: There are more Ranchita Pantry items dropping every week going forward - this week it is our HEIRLOOM CELERY SALT! This is our go-to seasoning salt this time of year for soups and savory dishes. This means our garlic scape salt is almost gone until next year, but the celery salt is used the same way, but for cool weather dishes!
