Special news from Fidalgo Coffee CEO, Darryl Miller. As everyone who knows me, knows that I love dogs. Last Sunday I watched 60-minutes, like I do every Sunday like my dad, and grandfather did also. On 60-minutes they reported about The Dog Longevity project.

On our all staff conference call this morning I had news to say about this project. Like I said on the call, the CEO of the dog longevity project was connected to me on LinkedIn and when I reached out to her about the caffeine component of the study, I found out that they were looking for a light roasted coffee for this, and especially for their human studies because they manufacture a suppository type gel cap pill that is used because of course dogs don’t drink coffee, but the veterinarians have to continue the same type of study with the human study and they’re looking at our special Wired Wolf White Coffee right now.

The results with the dog only study have been two extra years of dog life so that means in human years 14 years, which would be worth billions of dollars they just raised over 500 million in their last round of private equity so this could be pretty exciting for our small coffee company. I’m looking at several times the volume that we do in total right now, but it would all be wired wolf white coffee for the dog longevity project human study phase. We will keep you posted and announce more later.
