First off, we regret not being able to communicate with detail and precision our intentions and actions earlier during a controlled shut down. There are legal procedures that must be followed. Please don't misinterpret or misjudge our lack of information as withholding the truth from you. We have been timely with all notifications according to council advice.
This is the last thing we ever conceived or wanted. We have exhausted every resource possible and we had to move quickly into this forced shut down. We were never in arrears with bank payments. All were current. It has been a spirited battle since 2019. We were able to weather a number of storms happening at one time. Examples include supply chain issues, COVID, recession, tariffs, inflation & overhead costs. The additional factors of rising costs of doing business, transportation costs, customer spending habits and needless fiscal economic climate changes became untenable merged with attitudes and standards towards commercial lending.
We have used every personal and outside economic resource we have to stabilize the costs of these changes. Unfortunately, all of our attempts fell short. It is extremely hard for us to do this!
We are devastated by the effects on employees, customers, friends and family. Please visit and take advantage of our closeout savings during our final days. While you are in the stores, acknowledge our employees who have worked extremely hard during these unknown and trying times. Best Bargains Employees are vital members of the communities we are located!!
