Hey everyone, With permission from the Folks at Kaisers I will be sharing some of our experiences with their products.
Anyway basically everything I post for reviews will be done on the Grill. Mostly a Traeger, but I do use a Weber charcoal and also a gas grill. Traeger which is my favorite by far. You can do this in an oven very easily too.
1st is the Prime Rib
We bought a 12-14 lb rib. Which was the smallest they had. I didn't buy a bigger one because for one I was skeptical due to the price and we didn't "think" we would need a bigger one.
It was already seasoned and cooked to rare.
Pre grill I removed from the packaging and let it get to room temp. (very important!)
Then added some more seasoning. It is seasoned but I wanted to add a little more. So I added some Traeger Beef rub and some Butt Rub . Again . this is just my preference. It is ready to cook as is if you want.
I put it on the Traeger at 250* and cooked it until the internal temp came to 130*. I use a probe the entire time. About 3 hours
Took it out added pats of butter and let it rest (also very important) for about 20 minutes.
Sliced and served.
It was FANTASTIC!!!!! No leftovers! . I should have bought a larger one LOL
Would I buy again? Yes Yes Yes
Anyway I hope this helps any of you that may be wondering.
