Pardon me while i make a more personal post.

Yesterday was a huge health victory for me. I made it to the top of the Butte again!

It's been at least a handful of years since I've done so and I'm incredibly grateful for this milestone. (My son still at home even clapped in recognition when I made it back to the car! 😊)

It's a long and tedious tale...one that I'm not prepared to share in detail.

Suffice it to say, black mold and a bad well can ravage health and people die. We spent six months living in temporary housing while ours was being renovated/remediated. We moved back in about a month and a half ago and are still dealing with remediating our belongings. All the while dealing with detoxing years of poison for several people.

It's been hard...more than can be expressed...physically, mentally, emotionally. Then, when you pile that on previous decades of life-struggle... Well, the saying is true, "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger."

I didn't feel like I was dying yesterday and still had energy all the rest of the day. Today, barely any soreness. Literally, I can feel myself getting stronger in every way every day! 💗

There is still much left to accomplish but I'm grateful for each day and any amount of progress!

I'm still creating. Life is still just hard right now.

I scrapped the last project although I didn't 🐸 it. Saved it for another time. The yarn weight just didn't end up flowing with the fabric. I still want to do it though and am scouting for new yarn.

I finished a different project in the meantime and almost done another. Plus, I have a couple of things that arrived in the mail recently that I'm excited to share.

When I said , it wasn't hyperbole. I wasn't even in double digits yet! 😄

I can feel the "scratchy" nostalgia...literally. Hopefully, it softens up nicely in the wash.

Anyhoo, it matches the purple shade in the fabric *perfectly*! I wouldn't doubt the fabric stretches back that far too.
