Just a few weeks ago, I was photographing new dahlia varieties for our January tuber sale. Today, there's a thick layer of frost on the ground. How quickly the seasons change!

The dahlias have all been cut back, and this week we'll begin the big job of digging over 2,000 plants. I'm excited to see what this season has produced!

37 degrees this morning! It’s that time in the season when I start wondering how much longer we’ll have dahlias.

The dahlia harvests are SO good right now. Bucket after bucket of blooms, and they just keep coming. Hopefully we have a few more weeks to enjoy them. Pretty please!

Spend the afternoon surrounded by flowers at Ferris Farm with Michelle of Electric Flora.

Michelle will guide you through the fundamentals of floral design as you create your own naturally inspired seasonal arrangement using beautiful blooms from the farm.

And for the first time, workshop guests will also have the chance to walk through our annual flower field in bloom.

No floral design experience needed. Come on your own or bring a friend!
