Something new is coming tomorrow!

After 13 years in food photography, the way I edit has grown and changed alongside my work. Over time, I’ve refined my approach to color, contrast, and light—and tomorrow, I’m sharing a collection that reflects where I am now.

These are the presets I’ve developed for my own photographs, the ones I reach for every day.

I’ve also been working on a few other projects that I’m looking forward to sharing over the coming month! 🤍

I tried a new type of grape in my juicing escapades this season - Marechal Foch. Turns out the grapes didn’t fare quite as well as hoped, just like all the other fruit in northern Utah.
This did leave me with a new(obviously hardy) variety to try.
These were somewhat similar to concord…isn’t the color lovely?!
For all you grape juicers, I have a blog post on how to make homemade grape juice that I’ve just given a facelift - I tell you all about how to make grape juice with a pot and strainer or a steam juicer over there.

I never would have guessed that this Irish Apple Cake with Custard Sauce would be my most popular recipe of all time when I first shared it 12 years ago.
