🌟 Calling all West Virginia 4-H and FFA youth! 🌟
Think you’ve got what it takes to work with cattle like a pro? Grab two teammates and enter the 2026 Youth Cattle Working Contest! This hands-on team event from the West Virginia Cattlemen's Association challenges you to safely and efficiently process and handle feeder cattle.

Teams of three will complete a Cattle Processing Plan, properly administer health products like vaccines, implants, dewormers, and tags, and show off their handling, safety, and teamwork skills** under time pressure. ⏱️

📅 Date: April 10th, 2026 at 2:30 P.M
📍Location: WVU Jackson's Mill
🐮**Who can compete?** WV 4-H and FFA members ages 14–18
🏆 Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams
✔️ Must be Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) certified
