Looking for new pastures:

I’ve gotten to a point where buttery udders that milk quickly & wholly is one of my top 3 requirements in a keeper… and this girl delivers.

Her sire, Agape’s Prize Damascus CQuinn *B is a son of the 2018 ADGA national champion, GCH Woodbridge Farm Scarlet Rose 1*M VEVE90. On her dams side she is stacked with some high scoring does from Jordans herd w/absolutely phenomenal udders.

I’ve managed to keep my numbers, by some miracle, to 7 does & 2 bucks. 3 of these are kiddos I retained this season, a couple were yearlings this year, & only two are seasoned does. Kept my goal of both minimizing & focusing on making milk products over showing, etc. while still managing to make an LA session. The feedback very much motivated me to set some new goals. One of which is to have the majority of my herd with my herd name on it, and perform well with the animals I’ve produced. With that in mind I’ll be posting some profiles showcasing the does I’ll be using moving into next year. Pictured is my oldest current doe… Veritas Farm SS Sonja, six this year, her yearling daughter and her new granddaughter from this spring. She has what I call the “Yoda Face.” Stares at you like a startled goose. But she has strength & body capacity for days & one helluva an udder.

Guess who is joining the ranks? It’s like I have this thing for goats from the lines Yoshi comes from. And this girls dam, I’ve had a goat crush on her & her udder a few years now. LOVE the general appearance, topline and udder on this girl. 4 Acre Woods produces some of my favorite ND udders & I am beyond thrilled to be allowed to welcome her into my herd & try my hand at some line breeding.

This boyo! Haven’t been posting much because we took a step back during significant life changes. Held onto what I believe would be the best restart when I could grow again w/my herd. This dude is not disappointing! He is only a year & a half! Long, uphill, look at that depth developing & those rear legs! Them shoulders are SHARP & he is strong as an ox. Can’t wait to freshen his first two daughters next spring!

Flying Feets DQ Ambrosia (Agape’s Prize Damascus CQuinn x Flying Feets M Hostess) is looking damn good as a FF. Surprisingly easy to milk for being a wild nutcase. Doesn’t kick or squat. Super easy texture. Gave me 3.5 cups off this milking and I left some for her kiddos who’d been locked up all night. She has a doe kid available named Valencia.

Bamba gave us three massive kids. Of course the two with the pretty moonspots & white markings are boyos. Emma thinks the mini trampoline is the perfect place for new kiddos. Retaining the doe kid for the moment… who looks like a perfect mini oberhasli… didn’t plan to register bucks but would if there was any interest in this first dude. Mama milks like a cow. Papas sire is out of a national champion from Agape’s Prize.
