Home of Keweenaw’s gourmet quality artisan sourdough breads. We are the David family. Our small farm is located in Michigan’s beautiful Keweenaw Peninsula.

We love making everything we can from scratch. We try to grow our own food, including milking our Jersey cow Loretta for milk & cheese. We make jams from wild berries that we pick and can & freeze vegetables that we are able to grow. We also maintain a flock of free range chickens for eggs. To help sustain our livestock through the winter, we make our own hay to feed and to sell. Through our effor

ts we’ve discovered that one of our main passions is creating a variety of gourmet quality sourdough breads. Breads that please the senses. All our breads are made utilizing a long fermentation process. We use our wild sourdough starter (Cora) only for all of our proofing. We believe this extended natural process aids gluten digestion and also adds to a depth and complexity of flavors.
