We are exited to announce that we're creating a remembrance garden in honor of our best buddy Kate, and for all who would like a peaceful place in nature to reflect, meditate, and unwind. The garden will be set back from the existing Snaps and Sunflowers garden in a private spot that's still easily accessible from our parking.
Kate worked at Valley Dream Farm throughout high school and college. She loved the outdoors and connected easily with all walks of life—people, animals, and plants! She was a huge part of our lives and we're looking forward to creating this space in her name.
If you'd like to help contribute to the garden, please consider donating to our Go Fund Me. Proceeds will go toward an engraved bench, bulbs, and perennial plants. If there are particular plants that remind you of Kate or a loved one, please let us know! We will try to incorporate those suggestions into our garden designs.

As local gals, we love our town and strongly feel that part of being community members is giving back. Last year, we kicked that off with a live music fundraiser for T1 diabetes in the gardens. If you have a fundraising event in mind for this spring or summer, let us know! We're happy to collaborate.
Meanwhile, we've been busy planning our latest community project: establishing gardens around Jeffersonville's silos. In 2016, Sarah Rutherford created gorgeous murals on the silos, and we're excited to add our own take to beautifying the 'hood. This year the gardens will be a mix of perennials and annuals, with the goal of working toward perennial pollinator gardens. Stay tuned for more, including a community planting day.
