Woe is the ram lamb who thinks he's old enough for girls. That little bottle ram isn't so little anymore. He'll have his own batch of girls this fall and if he shapes up and gets rid of his attitude he can stay otherwise, he'll be a real soft rug.

Is that a bald spot? Yep. Is it my fault? Yep. Mistakes are part of learning, reflecting on your mistakes is how you move forward and grow.

Since he is a single lamb and we were getting teps at night with real feels of -20, that and seeing him shiver even under the heat lamp, he was doubled up with a fleece coat. What I didn't realize was that under his last coat, he was getting too warm and he lost some wool where the coat rubs the most.

The wool is growing back and he is acting just fine.
